Chugach Backcountry Ski Touring is the highlight of our winter season. Our permit area includes terrain accessible from Anchorage and Girdwood, just a quick drive from the city center and Alyeska Resort. Guided day trips get skiers and riders to fresh out-of-bounds stashes at an affordable price.

As with all Wild Alpine adventures, the itinerary for your next guided backcountry adventure is entirely unique and customized to your goals. Contact us to begin planning your next day out.

Schedule
9:00 am: Meet your guide in Anchorage or Girdwood
10:00 am – 10:30 am: Arrive at touring terrain and suit up
10:30 am – 1:00 pm: Morning session skills review and custom clinics
1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Rest and lunch
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Afternoon session, custom clinics and free skiing
6:00 pm: Return to Anchorage
