Recommended Daily Schedule
8:00 am: Meet your guide at your hotel in McCarthy or Kennecott.
8:15 am – 9:00 am: Get outfitted with safety gear.
9:00 am – 11:00 am: Interpretive tour of McCarthy and Kennicott en route to the Root Glacier.
11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Glacier exploration, hiking.
1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm: More exploring on the glacier.
6:00 pm: Return to your hotel in McCarthy or Kennecott.
